First Assembly of God has a job opening for the Receptionist role.
Job Overview and Description:
Greets all callers and guests promptly and courteously, while performing basic office tasks.
Answers all incoming phone calls and directs callers to the appropriate person or department.
Greets guests and informs employees of visitor arrivals.
Triage walk-in visitors and directs them as needed.
Reconciles monthly courier invoices with corresponding departments.
Keeps lobby and waiting area clean, neat and free from clutter.
Opens and date stamps all office mail and puts in corresponding internal mailboxes.
Keeps receptionist reference manual up-to-date.
Accepts, logs and notifies departments of deliveries.
Assists Lead Pastor and coworkers with various office projects.
Keeps Lead Pastor apprised of unusual or threatening situations that arise.
Informs Lead Pastor of technical issues with office or phone equipment.
Takes responsibility for completion of annual goals as outlined in departmental goals.
Performs duties the Lead Pastor requests.
Job Skills Required:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Educational Requirements
High school diploma, some college preferred
