We need a stellar SEO account manager to help us grow our link building agency. This is a fully-remote role.
About us
We are a fully-remote link building agency. We grew from 1 —> 10 clients over the past 16 months, finally hit our stride in 2020, and are looking to 5x our revenue over the coming 1-2 years without sacrificing client results.
In order to do this, we need a superstar SEO account manager who can handle the internal side of the business. This person must have a very strong understanding of SEO and link building, while also adept at managing other team members and communicating with clients.
You will not be asked to build the links yourself nor perform any actual on-page SEO, we have a team that does that. However, you will need a solid foundation in how link building works and ties into the grander scheme of SEO.
This is a crucial role for our business that has ample growth potential for the right person.
Activities include:
-Perform detailed analysis into keyword rankings and identify potential areas of opportunity for our clients
-Managing the link building team ensuring links are being built properly and having an impact
-Monitoring client SEO results (keyword rankings, traffic) monthly and quarterly
-Reporting client results on a quarterly basis
Requirements - Technical
-Previous SEO experience is a must, ideally very familiar with link building
-Client management / account management experience

-The ability to be available on slack as needed during the workday

Time Expectations and Compensation
This role will start out around 10 hours per week, but is expected to increase fairly rapidly as we grow our client base.
The pay will start hourly but will expand into a monthly salaried role.
