DescriptionThe Associate Director, Education and Human Capital Development builds training templates, standard documentation, policy and protocol, case studies, and disseminating best in class knowledge. The Associate Director, Humana Capital Development requires a solid understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across department(s) and meets business goals by providing comprehensive educational support to market contractor teams.ResponsibilitiesThe Associate Director, Education and Human Capital Development for National Contracting Product and Policy Enhancement is responsible for analyzing and improving current training programs, templates, processes and standardization. The Associate Director manages a team of associates who provide internal support to provider network contracting associates, leaders, and provider service operations to ensure they have the tools and knowledge of provider contract terms, system functions implementation to be able to contract effectively and meet Humana’s strategic business needs. Responsibilities:

Grows talent of direct reports.

Manages the modernization of training template(s) and SharePoint information

Assists markets with meeting training goals by ensuring market contractors are educated and competent in end to end contract systems inputs.

Analyze contractor training deficiencies and develop programs to improve competencies. Work with end to end teams to align training programs, and develop standards for basic contracting and systems knowledge checks.

Ability to manage and bring direct solutions to training needs for personnel

Ensure Humana Training for contracting and systems is standardized to ensure basic body of knowledge for all contractor personnel.

Supports Provider Analytics and Development team overall.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration and/or related field

6 or more years of strong technical experience related to training and education in provider contracting and/or provider relations to include curriculum development

Experience leading and managing a team

Healthcare, managed care experience

Experience with training technologies and measures

Experience with reporting and creating metrics for management

Possesses a solid understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across department(s)

Experience identifying and resolving complex technical and operational problems within department(s) and reduction solutions to easy step by step instruction.

Clear oral and written communication skills

Flexible, dynamic personality who works well in a team environment and can lead a team

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Business and/or related field
