Junior Java Developer

Primary Location – Louisville, Kentucky.

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a

Junior Java Developer for our premier client in

Louisville,

Kentucky. This is a

1-2 years. of months contract position.


Looking for motivated and confident Entry Level Jr.Java Developer who has a strong knowledge or experience in Core & Advanced Java.
In this role you will be assigned to a team that works on application development for long-standing clients. Your confidence in client/customer facing environments will be central to your achievement and enjoyment of this role.
Experience with Java application development:
Experience in Java app-to-app integration (web-services). 1 yr exp in Spring, Hibernate, JavaScript, HTML./ Strong knowledge on Core Java. Advanced java knowledge will be preferred.
Required Qualification: Master s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline.

Technical Requirements and/or Certifications »
  • OPT, CPT are eligible to apply.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education and Experience »
  • Master’s Graduates in Computer Science Engineering / MIS / IT / IS / CIS / ITM (or) Related Fields.
  • Graduated from an accredited university with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »
  • Frameworks: Spring Boot with Microservices, Spring MVC, Spring IOC, Spring Batch, Spring ORM, Spring Integration, Hibernate ORM
  • Application Servers/Web Services: IBM Web Sphere Application Server, WebLogic, JBoss, Apache Tomcat, SOAP, REST, SOA
  • Message Services: Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ
  • Front-end : HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, JSON, JSP, AngularJS, Angular4, Servlets
  • Database: Oracle, MySQL, NoSQL, MongoDB
  • SDLC Methodologies: Waterfall, Agile (Scrum)
  • Testing: JUnit, Mockito, PowerMock, Selenium, TOAD, SoapUI
  • Debugging Tools: JIRA, Bugzilla, Rational ClearQuest
