Job Title: Penetration Tester
Location: Remote Position
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Job Description:
Penetration (Pen) Tester manages encryption protocols to protect the organization's data as well as management of authentication and access controls. Monitors overall compliance with security standards and conducts periodic security audits using techniques such as ethical hacking and penetration testing. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.
Responsiblities:
As a Pen Tester you will plan and/or create penetration testing plans. Provide engagement level of effort. Develop communication plan and penetration testing plan. Perform hands-on penetration tests.
Intelligence gathering, Internal reconnaissance, Cloud reconnaissance, Automated vulnerability assessments
Internal services and servers, credential grabbing and password cracking, web applications, client server applications
Identity and authentication services, manual vulnerability assessments
Patching and update validation, Endpoint protection validation
Develop proof of concept (POC) exploits, tailored for specific penetration testing engagements
Understand various programing languages
Present findings and/or remediation guidance
Technical audiences and peers
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Candidate with minimum 3 years’ experience
OSCP –Offensive Security Certified Professional
OSCE – Offensive Security Certified Engineer
