RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Project Coordinator in Louisville, Kentucky (KY).
Summary:
A Project Coordinator will manage the tracking and administrative functions for a group of projects and programs which roll up to one or more of the corporate annual priorities or strategic objectives. The Project Coordinator will often actively manage stakeholder partnerships and mitigate risks. You will be familiar with the scope and objectives of the project and program portfolio assigned, the project coordinator will facilitate the dependencies, integration of interrelated projects, and cross-functional alignment.
Responsibilities include:
Assist the project and program leaders with developing a WBS and plan for their projects
Implement the program and projects in the tracking and consolidation tools (Jira Software and associated modules)
Project Coordinator update the tracking systems to ensure that project, program/objective status are maintained with complete accuracy, and currency
Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed, and stored
Define and implement KPIs for project performance
Develop or drive the development of status dashboards for use by company leadership
Project Coordinator can provide input on project planning standards and project tracking methodology
Provide ad hoc project support as needed based on leadership request or team need
Other administrative tasks as defined by the PMO leader
Project Coordinator will identify opportunities to increase efficiencies and standardization for the team
Identify and evaluate potential problems and risks, ensure project/program leaders are aware in a timely manner, escalate as necessary, assist in identifying solutions, and/or mitigating actions to ensure successful project completion
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
Change management certification is highly desired (PROSCI preferred)
3+ years of experience in previous project coordinator or project management roles
Change management training and demonstrated experience with large change management programs
Outstanding written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate effectively to a broad audience
Ability to function independently with moderate supervision; Awareness of when to engage other colleagues
Enjoys creative problem solving and developing new, efficient, and effective processes
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Documentation management and ability to use project management tools
Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Experience in business process re-engineering or information technology projects strongly preferred
