The Food and Beverage Manager oversees all aspects of Jeptha Creed's Kitchen and Cocktail Bar planning and service, with duties to include menu planning and costs, preparation and presentation of food and drinks, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
The Food and Beverage manager delivers outstanding guest service and profitability. This manager will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards. Manage, support, schedule, assign daily responsibilities, inform and train team members in all bar and kitchen activities and operations. Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating staff performance. Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaints. The correct candidate will be capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
Jeptha Creed's Food and Beverage Manager will ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards. Manage and monitor product quality and service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly. Assist in monitoring inventory and inventory control. Help Identify marketing opportunities to our marketing team to promote food and beverage products.
The Food and Beverage Manger reports to the Visitor Center's General Manager and leads the Bar and Kitchen staff. The Food and Beverage Manager is essential in leading the frontlines at the Visitor Center of the Distillery.

Educate and excite visitors, giving them an experience!
Educate and Promote Jeptha Creed Craft Cocktails and Food
Plan, coordinate, and oversee/manage bar and kitchen during events.
Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure best profit for bar and kitchen
Maintain Bar and Kitchen budget, with cost of goods and profit.
Maintain completion of weekly Bar and Kitchen staff tip outs, Par levels, Inventory, and waste log
Maintain statistical and financial records of bar and kitchen KPI's
Successfully executing Bar Reports keeping accurate KPI records
Coordinate with management and staff to ensure completion of all responsibilities of the distillery
Communicate with management leadership/staff about bar responsibilities and bar updates
Manages customer queries and complaints

Requirements:
2+ years of Restaurant Management, with knowledge of Table Service
2+ years of Bartending Experience, with knowledge of Craft Cocktails
2+ years of Hospitality Industry
Food Service Managers Certification
Weekends are required
Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 4 hours in length.
Able to bend and kneel and have the ability to lift 70 pounds.
