Cunningham's Creekside located on River Road in Prospect, is seeking an experienced restaurant manager whose talents are being overlooked or is in a dead end position, who may be ready to join our team. We are seeking that individual, who enjoys operating at a fast pace in an organization that prides itself on knowing exactly what we do and how we want to do it. We seek a person with exceptional organizational skills, communication skills with staff and GUESTS, who may presently be in a position where these great qualities are not appreciated by your supervisors.
We are seeking that self-assured person that realizes that the success of their job is to motivate/train/encourage their staff in effective operating standards on a daily basis in order to operate efficiently and create a better customer experience at the restaurant. We are looking for that dynamic person that can effectively deal with the needs of a divergent staff and be able to effectively communicate with members of the entire staff, GUESTS of the restaurant, other members of the management team, and ownership.
This means seeking that 1% improvement daily with multiple team members. Good written and communication skills a must. These same communication skills should be demonstrated on a daily basis to effectively train/motivate staff so that they are able to do their jobs better according to the company's operating procedures.
Overall responsibilities include managing all aspects of a high volume restaurant. Specific duties include managing daily lunch & dinner shifts, employee scheduling, conducting inventory related counts and reports. Additionally, you will be involved in conducting hiring interviews as well as performing disciplinary write-ups, and be expected periodically to suggest improvements to company operating procedures.
As a testament to our success & the work environment that exists at Creekside, many of our employees have been here 5-10 yearssome since the first year-This established restaurant has been operating at this location successfully over thirteen years. The starting compensation is commensurate with your experience. Your schedule will consist of both day and night shifts and average hours per week will be 42-52 hours per week. Your compensation will be at an hourly rate with time and a half for all hours over 40. You will report directly to the Operations Manager.
Please only apply for this position if you have at least 2 years prior RESTAURANT management experience or if you have not been a manager in the past, but are looking to move up to management, that you have a minimum of 5 years previous experience as a server, bartender, or cook.
