If you are an experienced excavator operator looking for a long term full time gig working day shift and reporting to the same location every day then you should definitely consider this opportunity. This is consistent, year-round, work! We work rain or shine, hot or cold! You must be proficient operating a class B excavator safely indoors, in a crowded environment. Great hourly pay, day shift hours, and 1.5x pay over 40 hours! Benefits include: health, dental, vision, life insurance, paid holidays, paid vacation and 401K! Atomic Transport is a national bulk waste hauler that specializes in the loading and hauling of solid waste. Our Louisville operation has expanded and the new work demands additional equipment and experienced operators to load and tamp solid waste into open top semi-trailers. Our heavy equipment operators are needed full time and all year round!
Details at a glance
Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Equipment: Volvo 300EL – class B Excavator (comparable to CAT330)
Schedule: Monday through Friday 10-12 hours per day, some Saturday work required (usually half day)
Shift: 1st shift
Requirements: Experience operating a Volvo 250 or equivalent (JD 160, Komatsu 270) or larger. Full time availability, with some Saturday availability. Must be able to demonstrate proficient and safe operating skills in a skills test. Holding a CDL-A and wheel loader experience is a plus, but not required
Compensation: $21+ per hour depending on experience.
