The Nurse Intern provides care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse; carries out the nursing process at present level of expertise and within the limits of unlicensed personnel.

• Assists the professional nurses by performing various patient care activities and related non- professional services necessary to meet personal and comfort needs and carry out the medical and nursing plan of care for all adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Qualifications

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• CPR for Healthcare Providers to be completed within 30 days of hire
• Student currently enrolled in an approved nursing program leading to the eligibility to take the NCLEX-RN exam.
• Successful completion of fundamentals clinical rotation or completion of first semester of nursing clinicals.
