Essential Duties and Responsibilities
As a Senior CAD Technician, youll help us tell the story of each project site visually. Our most successful CAD specialists can present accurate technical details with creative visual flair. Youll support GeoEngineers projects by developing routine graphics, figures and design drawings. Using your knowledge of the drafting process, youll work with senior CAD staff and project managers to ensure that drawings match industry standards and internal CAD guidelines. As part of our close-knit, decentralized CAD team, youll work with experienced CAD professionals on a variety of projects from our geotechnical, environmental, and natural resources groups. Position Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; AA degree or technical degree preferred
4 years of experience as a CAD Technician, including experience producing civil and/or environmental engineering drawings and figures required
Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil3D required. General understanding of Map 3D, ArcGIS, and/or MicroStation preferred.
Strong attention to detail
Professional-level verbal and written communication skills
