Hope Community Services has openings for a part-time LCSW, LPC or LMFT. The agency is in search of an LMHP with previous experience in the mental health rehabilitation program. The position entails the individual candidate supervising all clinical activities associated with service delivery. Below are some of the specific qualifications required for this position:
A) A Licensed Mental Health Professional should be a person with a degree in a mental health-related field from an accredited institution and is licensed to practice in the state of Louisiana by the applicable professional board of examiners. Qualified individual must have at least two years post-masters experience in mental health working with children and adults with emotional/behavioral problems and adults with serious mental illness.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
a) Providing lead responsibility on MHR assessment for each assigned client in which services are rendered. This process will include among other things a minimum of 1 face-to-face interview with the recipient and their family/significant other, sign and date the assessment document, develop the integrated summary section and sign.
b) Completing initial assessment as independent assignment without assuming any responsibility for client after authorization has been received.
c) Administering and scoring LOCUS/CALOCUS semi annually
d) Act as team leader of the service planning team, sign and date the Assessment, authorization, and Treatment Plan.
In addition, potential candidates should demonstrate excellent personnel relations skills, Extensive knowledge of the Louisiana mental health rehabilitation program, High level of motivation to accomplish organizational goals.
