A very well respected Clinton, LA area family, deeply respected in the Baton Rouge community, is currently seeking a trusted, hardworking, hands on couple as Manager / Caretaker to handle day-to-day operations at our familys ranch.
Duties would include grounds keeping, landscaping, domestic pet care, some horse / stable work, miscellaneous repair projects and other general property management. Flexible work schedule as this is not always an 8-5 job. The perfect candidate must possess experience in similar situation working or managing a rural property. Expertise in all aspects of ranch management along with ability to advise the owner on all issues that arise on the ranch. The owner does not live on site, so you must be a hard worker in unsupervised situations; be able to complete projects and work independently. This can be a physically demanding job at times; a valid drivers license, clean driving record and email / texting ability required.
Our family would offer a very generous compensation package which would include the use of a beautiful fully furnished cabin rent free, all utilities paid for, along with a competitive salary. We prefer a long term relationship with the ideal person or couple. Vehicle use could also be considered in the future.
