Furniture Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate
Inspirations Furniture and Design on Perkins Road in Baton Rouge has an opening for a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate
This position has great working hours and comes with competitive pay and excellent
working conditions, and open for business Tuesday through Saturday.
Job description:
1. Receiving, unpacking and shelving furniture in warehouse and showroom floor
2. Driving box truck or large van, delivering and setting up furniture safely in our clients homes with a smile and great attitude, and/or working the warehouse and showroom floor
3. Removing and replacing furniture, art and accessories on the showroom floor.
4. Must have current valid drivers license with excellent box truck driving record / history and dependable transportation to get to work.
Job requirements:
1. Able to lift 70 pounds repeatedly (furniture) in a safe manner without damage
2. Driving and warehouse experience. Forklift experience a plus.
3. Excellent driving record; Current valid drivers license; dependable transportation to get to work
4. Commitment to safety at all times
