The Doughnut Peddler Transport is adding more routes in Baton Rouge and is looking for qualified night time delivery drivers.
Shifts generally start anywhere from 5pm to 8pm and go until your route is finished, typically 4 am - 6 am. On these routes you will be delivering assorted fresh pastries to many gas stations all across the Baton Rouge area. We currently have 4 routes with 11-30 stops per route and pay varies depending on route and driver productivity - roughly $15-$18 per hour. Our best route pays out $52k (subject to change) at 5 days per week and can be completed in 6-7 hours. We deliver 7 days per week so weekend availability is a must.
Ability to interact with customers, work and drive safely and be quick on your feed is required. If you do not enjoy providing world-class customer service, please do not apply.
Our company is growing fast so there's room for advancement. We are looking for ambitious, hardworking, reliable, dedicated employees with previous night shift or delivery experience. We offer medical/dental/vision and life insurance after 60 days of employment. This is a W-2 position, we pay for fuel and truck maintenance. No DOT/CDL required.
Job Requirements: 5 plus years of driving experience with a CLEAN 3 Year driving record, 21 years or older, Background check, current LA drivers license and DRUG SCREENING. No DUI or Felony. Also, this job requires persons with the ability to move quickly and work at a fast pace to make deliveries in a timely manner. Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds frequently and push/pull (on wheels) 500 pounds on occasion. Willing to provide outstanding customer service to our clients.
