Help wanted for a short term project in Alexandria, LA (April to July).
Prep/Paint Techs work under supervision to safely prepare, strip, prep, buff, wet sand, prime, paint, and mask component parts and static displays.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Performs bodywork
- Apply stripper, sand, buff, prep for paint and other detail work
- Set up and operate typical shop equipment as orbital sanders, dye grinders, and other general shop equipment and tools to complete work assignments.
- Layout design and pull strips.
- Uses protective equipment and follows safety rules as required in compliance with OSHA.
Pay is based on years of experience
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have at least 2-4 years of painting (or prep for paint) experience in automotive or aerospace.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Must be able to climb ladders, stand, and bend for long period of time.
