Position SummaryThe General Maintenance Worker performs a variety of routine maintenance and repair duties to ensure the safe and efficient operation of facilities, equipment, and grounds. This role supports maintenance, electrical, plumbing, and structural tasks, following company safety and quality standards.  Must have knowledge with computers as to making layouts for road signsEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Assist electricians in replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.Replace belts and filters on air handling units.Patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings using plaster or compound.Perform general plumbing repairs, including replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets.Paint structures, equipment, and interior areas as required.Inspect and repair concrete floors, steps, sidewalks, and other building/road surfaces.Inspect and repair minor flooring and roofing issues.Inspect and repair damaged interior surfaces and infrastructure as needed.Install doors, locks, and replace cipher locks.Perform general maintenance on assigned equipment and machinery.Maintain and clean mechanical rooms and work areas.Follow all company safety, health, and accident prevention policies.Complete required documentation and records in a timely manner.Perform other duties as assigned.
