Civil Engineer:A large full-service civil engineering and surveying firm that provides excellent service to clients, provide long term careers for our employees and prides themselves in providing a positive work environment focused on career development, training and personal growth. This firm is currently looking to add a Civil Project Engineer to their Site Development Services team. The reporting location for this position is in West Lafayette, Indiana, but will be a combination of office and remote.Job Summary:One of the most successful consulting firms in Indiana is looking for a Civil Project Engineer. This is an opportunity to work on a variety of different types of site design projects. This is a tight-knit team that thrives in making impacts on projects within the State of Indiana. A successful Project Engineer will enjoy working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined environment, using their knowledge, skills and abilities to help our utility clients maintain, expand, or add to their infrastructure. They will be working in a team environment where they can either assist the Project Managers, mentor other team members, with possibility of leading project teams. Job Duties:Perform and provide design, management and technical direction and oversight associated with civil components on site design projects.
Deliverables typically include Civil/Site Development, Construction Plans and Specifications.
Produce and review technical reports and letters for jurisdictional and agency review.
The candidate will assist in maintaining budget, schedule, and quality of Tasks and being up to speed on regulation changes and agency protocols and requirements.
The candidate will assist in development of proposals, scopes of work, man-hour estimates and work plans for engineering portions of work pursuits.
Assist as a contact for the client concerning the engineering aspects of the project as well as attending client meetings.

Job Requirements:-Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering-Passed Fundamental of Engineering Exam - have their EI/EIT-2+ years of Civil Design experience (Site Development, Water/Wastewater, Transportation)-Desire to be in Site DevelopmentKey Details:-This is a PERMANENT, long-term opportunity with the firm-There is a lot of flexibility on REMOTE work options with this position.-The manager is open to an engineer that wants to work remote 100% of the time. The engineer will need to be flexible to come to either the West Lafayette, Indianapolis, or Charlotte, NC office on occasionIf the Project Engineer wants to have more of a hybrid schedule, the firm is open to that as well
Compensation:For EIT Project Engineers, the pay range will be between $70K-$85K
For PE candidates the pay range will be over $90K+ depending on experience
