Lamb Weston, Inc. seeks Plant Manager in Delhi, LA.

Responsibilities: The Plant Manager will be responsible for the general management and daily operation of a state-of-the-art processing facility specifically producing high quality frozen sweet potato products. Will be expected to lead a zero-loss manufacturing culture focused on continuous improvement and delivering world class sustainable performance. Create and implement vision and strategies for improving the plant working environment and driving results. Lead the formulation and approve short and long-term operating objectives in the following areas: cost reduction, quality improvement, new product development, and integration as undertaken at the plant level. Deliver results that meet quality, customer service, safety, innovation and cost criteria. Implement plans to ensure achievement of established plant objectives to include: production volume, recovery rates, and other KPIs at the lowest manufacturing cost. Manage quantitative and qualitative staffing within agreed budget for fixed and temporary personnel. Manage various plant staff functions such as Safety, Production, Quality, Engineering, Ag (Raw Product), Human Resources, Finance, and IT. Understand and enforce regulatory requirements (OSHA, food safety, environmental, quality). Define and direct the administration of plant policies within the framework and intent of the companys manufacturing policy. May supervise 280 employees with various roles throughout the plant, such as Engineering, Operations, Continuous Improvement, Plant Safety, Production, and Plant Quality. Other duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Requirements: 6 years of experience in the job offered or related positions. Other special requirements include: 6 years of experience developing and enforcing plant budget plans and cost reduction/savings programs; 6 years of experience implementing strategies to align corporate and plant strategic initiatives; 6 years of experience enforcing and monitoring plant safety, production processes, and quality assurance; 6 years of leading efforts to maximize efficiencies, improve performance, and optimize manufacturing processes; and 6 years of experience developing and leading training programs.

In lieu of a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field and 6 years of experience, employer will accept candidates with no degree and 8 years of experience in the job offered or related positions.
