(Monday through Friday) 6:50 a.m. to 3:10 p.m.ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS:Maintaining control over the production line at all times
which may require close interaction with Mfg. Engineering, Maintenance
and Quality.Ensure all daily production activities are thoroughly
communicated to Supervisors.May be required to perform tasks associated
with troubleshooting product quality and performance.Maintain the
production line in a safe, neat, clean and organized environment.Assist
as needed on the production line.Respect work hours, support production
goals and time-tables, which may require overtime.Ensures the
following:a) Utilizing knowledge of ISO14000 & TS16949 ensures all
associates follow procedures and work instructionsb) All production,
scrap, and down time reports are completed properly and timely.c)
Product and/or component dimensions are checked via in-process
inspection check sheets with use of various indicators and gauges as
described in procedures or work instructions.d) Equipment is monitored
for unusual sounds, movements or appearance that may indicate problems.
Addresses any abnormalities.e) Changing of simple parts and fixtures to
facilitate changeover of product types.f) Visually and manually check
for defects in product or workmanship.g)Recording of process equipment
settings and conditions using equipment verification check
sheets.QUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma or equivalent required.
Demonstrated leadership skills required.Three (3) years manufacturing
experience with preference in equipment assembly or high speed equipment
operation.Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order
instructions and prepare simple production reports.Basic math
skills.Sufficient Manual dexterity to operate machines
properly.Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions,
operate machines, and visually inspect parts products.Physical ability
to do work requiring frequent stooping and bending.Physical strength
sufficient to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently.SUPERVISOR
RESPONSIBILITIES:None.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:While performing the duties of
this job, the employee is frequently required to walk. The employee
occasionally is required to stand; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or
feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or
