Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Watch Officer on a critical mission supporting The Department of the Navy, on a 6+ year federal contract based out of New Orleans, LA. The Watch Officer will assist with = network monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.

Location: New Orleans, LA

Salary: $62,500 - $70,500 depending on experience

Clearance: Active Secret or higher

Responsibilities of the Watch Officer Include:

• Monitor networks email, voice, and official message traffic
• Perform Tier 1 First Contact Resolution and after-hours Regional Service Desk support to include routine checks of network, ongoing maintenance, and operational support status.
• Inform the Senior Watch Officer of any service degradations or outages. Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or escalate technical issues.
• Open and close tickets.

Qualifications for the Watch Officer Include:

• Active Secret Clearance
• 3 Years of Customer Service Experience
• 2+ Years of IT Support Experience (work, school, military, side jobs)
• Experience with network device (router/switch) troubleshooting, configuration, and administration
• IAT II Certification
  • Qualifying certificates: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP, CCNP Security, CASP+ CE, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, or CCSP
