Professors Seek Babysitter Who Recovered from COVID ($100 referral) (New Orleans)

Vacancy expired!

Do you know someone who has recovered from COVID-19 and has experience babysitting toddlers?

Referral Offer: We will provide you with $100 in cash or Venmo if we hire someone you refer.

Babysitting Job Offer: We are seeking a part-time babysitter who meets these two criteria:

(1) Has had COVID-19 and recovered. Must have medical documentation of diagnosis.

(2) Has experience sitting for toddlers.

We are seeking a part-time babysitter who has recovered from COVID-19. Why? Presumably people who have recovered are immune for some period of time. We haven't had COVID yet and don't want to get it from a babysitter. We also don't want to get COVID elsewhere and accidentally transmit it to a babysitter. COVID cases are soaring, and we are extremely cautious.

We have 1 son who is 2 years old. He has no special needs or allergies. He is funny, smart, and easy going. We are seeking part-time help from 9am-1pm Monday-Friday. My wife and I are professors and live near Tulane's uptown campus. Our son had been going to daycare, but we do not feel comfortable sending him back any time soon since 2 year olds can't social distance and are bad with masks, and many of the teachers are older. We expect the position to last through the end of the year but perhaps even longer if the COVID trajectory still looks bad.
