As a credit underwriter, you'll use your commercial or business credit training to assess the credit worthiness of customers while facilitating portfolio growth and mitigating loss.Responsibilities:Structure transactions while balancing risk/reward

Utilize advanced credit skills to author concise, thoughtful analysis of relationships using appropriate structure and identifying key risks

Work proactively with internal and external contacts to ensure transactions move forward efficiently

Lead complex transactions including syndications and multi-level capital structures

Evaluate smaller relationships to evaluate risk profile and recommend simple structures that adequately protect the bank

Qualifications:BS or advanced degree with business focus

Completion of a major corporate or commercial bank credit training program and three years of commercial banking experience preferred

Otherwise, a minimum of five years experience in commercial banking/lending which might include credit, structuring, and marketing experience

Significant accounting and finance knowledge

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

Strong analytical and problem solving skills
