Cooter Brown's Tavern and Oyster Bar is looking to hire a part time door person WITH WEEKEND AVAILABILITY. A friendly demeanor is required in greeting guests while ensuring they meet the +21 y/o age requirement. Must be willing to work with bar staff to maintain a clean environment for guests and perform light stocking duties. This is a customer-facing position so customer service experience is highly valued.
The base hourly wage is $12+TIPS. 5% of bartender tips go to the door person.
Cooter Browns is a well established, low-turnover bar/restaurant, and we like to promote from within. It is worth noting that there may be eventual opportunities to move into bar-service positions for the appropriate candidate.
