Award winning restaurant, DTB, on historic Oak Street seeks an experienced Chef de Cuisine. Previous experience in professional kitchens is a necessity. We want a chef who is inspired, passionate, confident, and works great with others under high pressure situations. Our chef will be well groomed, well mannered, and puts the restaurant first. Attitude is everything. This is a great opportunity for growth within an ambitious, expanding restaurant group. This chef will work directly under the restaurant chef/owners/general manager in a great environment to be creative and learn at the same time. Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience executive chef/chef de cuisine/sous chef in fine dining or casual fine dining restaurant
Knowledge of kitchen applications such as scheduling, ordering, menu costing, Human Resources, hiring, disciplining, coaching, and profit and loss statements
Must be efficient in excel and word, as well as menu engineering
This position is salary based and if hired, expect to work 50-60 hours based on volume.
