Pomegranate Hospitality is looking for an experienced Sous Chef for James Beard Award Winning Chef Alon Shaya's Israeli restaurant, Saba, on Magazine Street.
Must be knowledgeable in a variety of cooking techniques, have proficient knife skills and willingness to learn a unique cuisine. A minimum of 2-3 years of fine dining kitchen management experience preferred for all Sous Chef candidates.
A Sous Chef for any Pomegranate Hospitality concept is a part of the management team responsible for teaching and overseeing daily culinary operations, achieving consistent food quality standards and ensuring the company core values are being executed. This role will manage the development of the Back of House facility, operating culinary systems and team and create a successful working relationship with the Front of House. It is essential to have a strong hold on the company's culture and values to ensure they are implemented everyday with each employee.
