Very busy small Independent boutique hotel in the French Quarter - seeking an energetic General Manager to oversee all aspects of the 65 room hotel located in the historic French Quarter, steps away from Jackson Square and Bourbon St. Responsible for overseing the day to day operations of the hotel including but not limited to front desk, housekeeping, laundry and maintenance. Hotel has an annual 2.5 million dollars in room revenue, 80% occupancy. Hotel is locally owned and managed. Gm will report to an area manager. Annual salary, cell phone allowance, free parking and bonus potential.
Requirements:
Must be able to motivate and train employees / Must have experience with hiring, counseling and teminating employees / Able to work, nights, weekends and holidays / Able to physically inspect the hotel facility multiple times a day / Experience with P&L's / Love to serve guests
