HIRING - FULL TIME AND PART TIME EXPERIENCED TREE CLIMBERS
Kenner, La. tree service company with a great reputation and work environment is now accepting phone interviews and resumes for skilled tree climbers with great work ethics and the desire to grow with the company. The person that fills this position could move into a Foreman/Operations Management position in the future, if desired.
A successful climber be willing to follow company established processes and have the proper skill set for doing daily work quickly and safely in a professional manner. The right candidate will be able to work well with other crew members and will enjoy working outdoors, be dependable, reliable and safety minded. They will be able to present themselves in a professional manner at all times and be willing to follow all company safety requirements. The tree climber will be willing to help train the ground crew if needed to accomplish quality work, a safe work environment and fully satisfied customers. The climber and ground crew will be willing to follow the company processes that have been proven successful for all daily operations to do work.
Job Duties:
Tree Climber is responsible for all aspects related to tree climbing during trimming and removal of trees.
Must climb trees proficiently and safely using proper equipment and rigging techniques.
Must have good communication skills when working with the ground crew.
Must be willing to help train lessor skilled crew members when needed.
Must help maintain proper light maintenance on all chain saws and other equipment as needed.
Must follow the company processes to properly maintain and safely use all equipment daily.
Must safely drive trucks when towing trailers and equipment to job site and back to company equipment yard.
Must do all work to complete the jobs safely in a professional manner.
Must protect all company tools and equipment from theft, damages and loss daily.
Must take pride in their work and be able to leave job sites completely clean and Lookin' Good !
Qualifications :
Minimum two years of on the job experience with a recognized commercial tree service company or equivalent
formal training from a recognized training facility. Example (ISA or TCIA)
Climber must have own gear and be able to climb proficiently without tree spurs when trimming
Must be able to demonstrate safe tree climbing skills, cutting and rigging techniques.
Must have current valid drivers license, a clean driving record. (NO Exceptions)
(Chauffeur's license is preferred)
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test. (NO Exceptions)
Must have experience driving trucks and able to safely tow and backup equipment and trailers.
Must have a permanent home address and own transportation.
Must be able to trim and remove trees safely using a bucket truck.
