I am currently looking for an experienced individual to install water meters and replace water meter registers. You must be experienced. If you know how to do this type of work I am looking to fill 4 remaining positions. Your job will be to come every morning to the warehouse and pick up material and paperwork and then go out to the field and change water meters at the parish customers home. When you get there you verify the numbers on your paperwork with the numbers on the water meter. You will then knock on the customers door and explain who you are and what you are doing. Then after you change the meter you clean up your area and make sure everything looks clean and go to the next address on your paperwork. There will be a procedural training class to explain how we want the work performed. you can make very good money and we also travel to different city's across the country. So you can get to see the country. Its a great opportunity for the right person. This position pays 15.00 for each meter you change out. Depending on your experience you can put in as many as you want. The average person puts in about 20 to 30 meters a day. this can be more or less depending. so that works out to be 300 to 450 a day. Week get paid every friday with one week in the hole. We work daily 8am to 5pm. If you can't work those hours you will not qualify. That doesn't mean 8am to 4:30 pm. its 8 to 5. Below are some requirements.
1- You must have a mechanically sound truck. If you have a car, you do not qualify. Do not waste my time or your time asking if a car is ok because the answer will be no.
2- You must have a good working smartphone and it must be able to take good clear photos. This is to download our OS and to collect data for each account you visit.
3- You must provide a valid drivers license and current insurance.
4- While working you are required to come to work with presentable clothes. I will have shirts and a safety vest. You must have clean clothes each day and no holes in your clothes and you have to wear them appropriately.
5- Attendance is a huge thing for me. I understand everyone has emergencies and just issues that pop up. But being tardy to work is a write up and I have a disciplinary action system in place. Leaving early is not acceptable as well. We will need to to put in a good 40 hour week.
6- I am sure I have missed something here, but it will come up as we go.
7- You must be able to pass a background and drug test.
