Festival Production Intern

Vacancy expired!

Jazz Crawl Productions is a community-minded cultural event organization with a focus on collaborative performances, programs, exhibits, parties, parades and more. Inspired by the magic of New Orleans and the community-bonding tradition of the second line, we showcase local musicians, dancers, social aid and pleasure clubs, culture bearers, artists, restaurants and more through productions including our signature Jazz Crawl for Charity event.

We are seeking a highly creative, organized, motivated and passionate festival producer intern to help plan, execute and maintain logistics around our Jazz Crawl community arts festival, for a TBD date in 2021. The ideal candidate is someone eager to work for an upstart company from the ground up and someone who can help visualize and execute the “big picture.” An ability to recognize the growth potential of early-stage business development is a must. Candidates should be self-motivated and able to adapt within the dynamics of a quickly growing business. Candidates should be eager to learn and great communicators.

This internship will have a strong focus on teambuilding and growth, so we are looking for someone who can devote several months to an internship. We are currently seeking candidates available July through December. Our aim is to make hiring decisions in early
2021.

Although this internship has the ability to earn commission there is not a guarantee of income. It is an unpaid position with high potential for internal growth and plenty of work experience in building multimedia design, developing digital marketing campaigns, artist management, and teamwork. If you’re excited about the thought of introducing the world to the joy and community enthusiasm of the New Orleans second-line tradition, consider applying for this ground-up opportunity.
