There are two sides to any working artist's practice, the creative and the administrative. During an art education program occasionally certain administrative tasks are glossed over. How does one maintain and archive their work? How does one maintain their email contacts and their personal art event calendar? This studio Intern position covers the best of both worlds in that creative skills are combined with administrative skills to find the balance that one needs as a working artist.
Some basic duties include:
- Assisting with the creation of new creative work
- Organize images in Lightroom/Bridge
-file management and archiving
- Basic Photoshop Tasks
- Basic retouching/Color Correcting
- Researching and Maintaining Email Lists
- Compiling press packets
- Assisting with Basic Studio Needs (Printing, Archiving, Organizing, etc)
- Website Updates
- Tagging and Adding Metadata to images and website
- Researching Grants and Fellowships
- Keeping Application Spreadsheet Updated
- Documenting Performance Work
