Seeking an organized, disciplined, dedicated person to assist in management of a growing and expanding food business.(not a restaurant)
Experience is preferred. You will assist the General Manager, but a strong working knowledge of the food business is needed.
Areas of experience needed
-Permit requirements, compliance for DHH, USDA, and others
-Manage inspections of same
-Calculate and pay state and parish taxes
-Assist in inventory processes
-Assist in placing product orders, coordinate shipments & payments
-Manage employee schedule, time/hours, records & documentation
-Submit payroll every two weeks
-Enter bills, expenses and create invoices in QBO.(qb exp. preferred)
-Assist in forecasting, budgeting, business planning
-Manage inventory of insurance policies
-Manage POS(will provide some training), pricing in POS and work with POS vendor
-Open and close out of retail operations
-Assist retail and wholesale operations in merchandising, marketing, & sales
Business is open 7 days, you will work 4-5 days per week, 30-40 hours per week.
Normal business hours, not late nights.
There is room for advancement and more hours as we grow.
