The Wyndham Garden is presently seeking applicants to fill the following positions:

Sales Coordinator

Executive Assistant

SALES COORDINATOR:

Applicant will be asked to assist the hotel's Sales Department and at times, the Front Desk Department so must possess a positive and guest-oriented demeanor. Applicant should already have some experience working in sales or at least customer service on a supervisory level.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

Inputting group rooming lists into the hotel's PMS (Opera)

Inputting individual reservations into Opera PMS.

Helping the Sales Department with start-up, set-up and finalizing group requests.

Submitting direct bills and reviewing invoices.

Fielding telephone calls

Software skills, Internet research abilities and strong communication skills.

Filing, faxing, scanning and basic accounting skills.

Helping the front desk when short-handed or when agents need to take their breaks.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Required to learn and process information into the hotel's property management system (Opera).

Software knowledge includes - but is not limited to - Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.

Must have access to a cellular phone with text/data usage capabilities.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Position is full time (35-38 hours per week)

Starting wage $15 to $20 (depends on experience and flexible work schedule).

Individual benefits includes group commission, package sales, last minute sales.

May be asked to run errands every so often

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Applicant will be asked to assist Upper Management and the HR Department so in addition to basic skills and supervisory experience, must also possess a high level of maturity and professionalism.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

Problem solver and capable of thinking ahead of the game.

Must be very detail-oriented and keeps his or her surroundings organized at all times.

Can meet all deadlines and if not give one, can complete tasks within a reasonable time frame.

Has savvy computer and Internet knowledge.

Has taken or completed college courses in basic accounting, business or hotel management is a plus.

Filing, faxing, scanning and basic accounting skills.

Helping the front desk when short-handed or when agents need to take their breaks.

ADDITIONAL:

Starting wage $20 to $25 (depends on experience and flexible work schedule).

Individual benefits for this position includes annual bonus and reservation sales.

May be asked to run errands every so often
