Earth Odyssey, a busy jewelry & rock shop in the French Quarter, is seeking an experienced high energy, positive sales person available immediately to join our team. We are all about hard work and getting rewarded! Duties will include sales, providing outstanding customer service, merchandising, maintaining inventory and assisting with duties assigned by management
All applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:
Minimum of 2 years sales experience in a retail environment
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to interact with others in a kind, respectful manner
Ability to complete tasks and follow through on projects
Ability to multi task and handle multiple customers at one time
Reliable transportation to and from work
Available nights, weekends and most holidays
A strong desire to learn about crystals, metaphysics, psychic readings and related topics
Ability to stand for periods of time and lift at least 25 lbs.
Knowledge of gemstones and metaphysics is a plus
Experience in retail jewelry sales is a huge plus
