A Day in the Life of an HVAC Technician Residential & Light Commercial
As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements and perform routine preventative maintenance. In addition, our HVAC Technicians respond to emergency maintenance requests and adhere to all safety policies and procedures. You will ask the right lifestyle questions to troubleshoot heating and cooling system malfunctions and assist customers in choosing the best maintenance plans.ÂHVAC Technicians will show themselves as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business in addition to keeping a clean job site and well-inventoried truck.
What you need to be Qualified for the HVAC Technician - Residential & Light Commercial Position
In order to be qualified for the HVAC Technician position, a minimum of three to five years of previous experience in HVAC or other related fields is required. Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams is required. Our HVAC Technician needs to be able to handle the physical workload and have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. A clean, safe driving record and a valid Driver's License is required for our HVAC Technicians. A strong desire to be a better Technician tomorrow than you are today with an outgoing personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment is imperative.Â
