Experienced Landscapers Needed
About us:
Greenman Dan, Inc. is a landscape construction firm that specializes in rainwater management using green infrastructure. We create beautiful outdoor spaces that capture rainwater runoff using functional landscaping and green infrastructure products. What we do helps homes, businesses and communities battle flooding, subsidence and water pollution.
In addition to rainwater management, our teams install landscape spaces that include features such as: concrete interlocking pavers; flagstone, brick, poured concrete, retaining walls, wooden pergolas, decks, arbors, gazebos, fountains and outdoor kitchens. The landscaping includes large specimen plantings and all landscaped areas include irrigation and lighting. We install pop-up spray head, rotary and drip irrigation systems. Construction of French drains, rain gardens and sub-surface drainage systems can be found on most of our projects.
The Role:
Greenman Dan, Inc. is looking for Landscapers to join our team. The Landscaper will assist the landscape construction team on all projects. Most importantly, you'll also be learning many other skills such as irrigation installation, pavers and rainwater management. You will work with a team to build incredibly beautiful projects that will add to the value of the project and the company.
Responsibilities
⢠Possess and demonstrate basic landscape plan reading and layout skills
⢠Installation of plant material
⢠Construction of irrigation, lighting and drainage systems
⢠Assist with hardscape installations
⢠Work with team on all aspects of the projects
⢠Safe operation of equipment
⢠Uphold company image and reputation
Requirements
⢠Speak English; ability to speak Spanish is helpful
⢠Valid driver's license is preferred
⢠Ability to read landscape plans and read a ruler
⢠Ability to operate machinery
⢠Comfortable communicating with team, supervisors and occasionally clients
⢠Able to work in a fast-paced environment
⢠Able to lift heavy material and work in the heat
⢠Sense of humor is good
⢠Passion for building high-craftsmanship projects is a must
