Job description
Westbank Commercial Printing Company servicing the entire region seeks graphic designers who wants to expand their knowledge of printing and be trained in customer service. We are looking for individuals who are organized and enjoy guiding customers in their choices. We work in a fast-paced environment, so the ideal candidate is able to multi-task. You will be trained on industry order entry/estimating software. Graphics work will focus on T-shirt and Sign Design using Adobe Creative Suite.
Qualifications and Skills
Required Skills
Degree or work experience in Design, Marketing or related discipline
Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
Excellent communication skills both email and telephone
Excellent Computer skills and willingness to be trained on estimating/order entry software
Ability to work closely with others in our organization
Responsibilities
Handle multiple assignments
Communicate with clients via email and telephone on their printing needs.
Enter details of printing jobs into industry order entry/estimating software.
Assist our in-house graphic designs with overflow work, particularly Sign and T-shirt design
Consult with clients on their printing needs
Be on-site during office hours of Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm
