BLUE LINK Transportation is currently seeking a full-time non-emergency medical transportation driver who is compassionate, caring, reliable and responsible. Driver will be transporting clients to and from medical appointments, hospitals, dialysis centers, physical therapy, as well as cancer treatment centers, etc. in a safe, secure and professional manner.
Job Responsibilities
Transporting clients to appt’s, treatments and dialysis utilizing company vehicles in a safe and professional manor.
Effectively communicate with dispatch regarding schedule progress and to receive instructions.
Maintain a professional image and attitude in regard to clients and coworkers.
Complete daily vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
Assist clients as needed to safely enter and exit the vehicle and to and from their destinations.
Understand and operate GPS.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Must possess a valid CLASS D or BETTER DRIVERS LICENSE and NOT been suspended.
NO MOVING VIOLATIONS in the last 3 years, no need to apply if so.
Must have a clean background check and driving record and pass a drug screen
Must have previous customer service experience with a good track record of assisting customers in a thoughtful, caring and timely manner
Available to work varying hours between 8-12 hours a day (MONDAY-FRIDAY)
Must have a stable work history with a track record of being reliable and ON-TIME.
Must have a MINIMUM of a high school diploma or GED
Must be able to LIFT 20 pounds
BLS or CPR certified
