DescriptionThe Lead Systems Engineer is responsible for design, analysis, configuration and maintenance of complex systems software solutions, based on a thorough knowledge of systems engineering and programming concepts and techniques. Systems software engineering/programming is a specialized area of software engineering/programming focused on software that operates/controls computer hardware and provides a platform for running end user applications. Includes operating systems, device drivers, utilities, and software; development tools (e.g., assemblers, compilers, etc.). The Lead Systems Engineer works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.ResponsibilitiesThe Lead Systems Engineer develops and/or modifies systems software for use internally, conducts requirements gathering and analysis, writes code using lower-level assembly languages and/or higher-level languages (e.g., C) and translates/compiles into machine language for use on specific hardware, and supports software testing, deployment, and maintenance activities by correcting programming errors and coding software enhancements. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.Required Qualifications8 years as a Systems Engineer in design, analysis, configuration and maintenance of complex systems software solutions, based on a thorough knowledge of systems engineering and programming concepts and techniques

Comprehensive expertise Includes MEMCM advancement, AutoPilot, Intune, Windows operating systems, development tools.

Fluent in most components of Windows security such as Defender AV, Defender for Endpoint, Bitlocker, Windows Firewall, Attack Surface Reduction, Application Control such as AppLocker and MDAC, data loss prevention, and more.

2 years or more leading teams within Systems Engineering technologies

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of Defender suite, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Group Policy, and inner workings of Windows security.

Familiarity with Workstation security compliance processes is a plus.

Exposure to related Windows OS technologies such as Windows Hello for Business, Azure AD, and Active Directory is a plus.

Must have intermediate skill with PowerShell for the automation of OS and application configuration.

Experience in delivery of configurations, applications, drivers, and BIOS updates during device provisioning.
