We are seeking a qualified chairside assistant for a small, privately-owned dental office. We function out of 1 treatment room for the doctor, 1 treatment room for the hygienist, and 1 overflow room for diagnosis of toothaches. We allow ample time per patient and value quality over quantity, so we function at a more relaxed pace.
The office is open 8-5 on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and 8-3 on Friday. We are closed on Wednesdays, but the assistant will be working a half-day twice a month to answer phones, update supply inventory, and other small tasks. Pay will be determined on experience level. The assistant we hire will be the only assistant for the office and would need to be well organized and friendly with our patients. Our previous assistant has been moved to the front desk, so she will be here to help provide an easy transition and training where necessary. We would prefer a candidate who has experience as a dental assistant. Qualified candidates will be asked to come in for a working interview if possible.
