Position Requirements
Accurately and efficiently perform MIG welds based on project needs on automotive products.
Maximize resources and meet all production goals by working with other team members.
Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform tasks at hand.
Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to detect flaws.
Works safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by adhering to all Superlift and OSHA safety and environmental rules and regulations.
Practices safe working habits by checking all safety devices and procedures are operating properly and being used.
Suggests improvements in work methods procedures by presenting ideas to supervisors and management personnel.
Troubleshoots work-related problems by participating in meetings and asking co-workers, supervisors, and management personnel when confronted with problems that may not have been encountered before.
Education and Experience
Minimum High School Diploma, general education degree (GED), and/or completion certificate from a certified technical school.
Minimum of five (5) years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
