Job Description The Technical Product Manager functions as the technical voice-of-the-customer (VOC) across the Biochemisry, Immunoassay, Molecular and Serology product lines, Floor Standards and Correlation kits with direct input into the business current and future product and service offering, and market expansion. Activities include working directly with cross-functional Product Managers to bring a strong clinical laboratory VOC to the division s portfolio management, segmentation strategies, and communications while in tandem functioning as a resource for the Sales and Technical Support teams.

What you will be doing:
  • Maintenance of current product offerings including ongoing Product Review and Product Support.
  • Define product specifications for new products to be added to the portfolios and coordinate cross functional teams during the development and launch process.
  • Assist Product Managers and Marketing activities to achieve sales and profit goals
  • Assist Portfolio Management in the development of product marketing strategy.
  • Execute product launches including new product launch training while meeting timeline and budget targets.
  • Ensure internal stakeholders including Sales, Operations and Regulatory receive information necessary to meet their goals.
  • Monitor the performance of the product portfolio throughout the product lifecycle, identifying market gaps and product/ service enhancements.
  • Employ formal and informal market research to monitor VOC, identify and interpret changing customer attitudes, demands and unmet needs for global diagnostic products and services.
  • Working with Product Management, drive New Product Development interfacing with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality and Sales while maintaining launch timelines.
  • Develop and maintain clinical laboratory insight and understanding fueling impactful go-to-market strategies including product positioning, key benefits and target customers.
  • As a Medical Technologist, drive a cohesive strategy for the engagement of key internal (including corporate) and external stakeholders, key influencers and opinion leaders, and external bodies and other partners for the advancement of LClinical Diagnostics Division in our applied markets.
  • Support the business s growth with product and service offerings into adjacent markets.

Experience you will need:
  • 5+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory environment.
  • 3+ years of marketing/product management experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated success interacting with internal and external customers and acting as the Champion / Voice of the Customer .
  • Experience in managing new product development initiatives from idea generation through market launch.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex and direct activities of large multidisciplinary teams.
