New England Kenworth in South Portland Maine, is looking for a Service Writer to join our growing team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assisting Service Manager in achieving sales and operational objectives & requirements by scheduling and assigning technicians to jobs
Manage all customer service requirements by assisting incoming customers and phone calls
Discuss service and support needs and advise customers of work required
Review and approve all warranty claim explanations and diagnostic analyses for adherence to the stated warranty policy/guideline before closing the repair order
Process repair orders and assign proper accounting values
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Completed two years of college or technical school
2 years related experience in heavy duty vehicle service management desired
The equivalent combination of education and experience
Current, valid, drivers license issued in state of residence
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:This position will require, at different times and frequencies, sitting, standing, walking, lifting and bending.
