Hello! I'm looking for a creative, experienced, and energetic childcare professional to care for our 2-year-old daughter, 4 days/week (~32 hrs/week), at our home in Yarmouth, ME. Country location with huge lawn, swings, and lots of room to play. Baby #2 is expected in early July, and by the fall the position will sometimes be to watch both kids. (Toddler likely will be in preschool a few days a week). So, experience with toddlers AND infants is a plus! Light housekeeping also appreciated (dishes, toys kept neat, etc). Ideally I'd want someone to commit for 1-2 years.
Interested in sitters with experience or interest in early childhood education, as well as philosophy-driven education. We are practicing no-tech parenting at this time. Looking for candidates who will bring her outside a lot, do arts/crafts, are interested in teaching our child(ren) new skills as she/they grow, and can work learning into creative play!
Mom is writer + artist that works from home; Dad works in Portland. We also have 1 well-mannered cat.
