At Toddle Inn we believe in supporting the growth and development of children in a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. Our educators guide the development of important skills through intentional teaching practices that meet the needs of the whole child. A responsive, play-based curriculum connects children to the world around them and encourages children to wonder, gain confidence, explore interests, and discover a love of learning.
Responsibilities would include: introducing family style dining experiences, modeling age appropriate social skills, working with co-teachers to create and implement responsive seasonal based curriculum focusing on the Maine Infant/Toddler Learning Guidelines, teaching through sensory based learning centers, maintaining a safe environment, documenting developmental goals and communicating effectively with parents regarding their child's day.
Minimum 1 Year experience in a child care setting required. Minimum of a CDA required.
Excellent candidates should be comfortable working with children 1 year - 2.5 years old.
Toddle Inn cares for children 6 weeks - 12 years from 7:00 am - 5:30 pm Monday - Friday. Individual schedules are based around the needs of the center.
