Experienced Donut Baker (Full-Time or Part-Time)
In this important role, you will support all kitchen processes by preparing and frying doughs, decorating, and performing a range of other baking and prep tasks. You will be occasionally called upon to work up front during busy times or to relieve your team members up front during their breaks.
You will be successful in this role if you are an enthusiastic, experienced baker who has solid people skills and takes pride in your work. This person must:
Enjoy going in and getting out early. (2am start as needed.)
Be available to work Wednesdays through Sundays. (At least during our initial opening period.)
Be able to lift 50lbs independently and stand for long periods of time.
Proactively maintain a clean and organized kitchen space.
Maintain professional personal appearance and demeanor as all team members are visible to the guests at all times.
Assist with dishes as necessary.
Understand that each team member helps to elevate one another and inspire a great workplace. You must take direction well and be willing to offer support when needed.
Be excited to join a new, growing business and have flexibility with unknowns and frequent changes as we ramp up.
Have 3 years of frying and/or baking experience.
Be a quick learner, and a quicker worker!
Have an artistic eye and steady hand.
Willingness to cross-train with the front of house.
Have a valid drivers license (strongly preferred).
Compensation: $1421/hr
