Busy Mexican Restaurant seeks a cashier for counter service:
Taco Trio is a casual taqueria serving lunch and dinner, dine-in and take-out, Monday through Saturday. We're looking for a full-time or part-time cashier to place orders from walk-in customers and take orders over the phone. Other responsibilities include pouring beer & margaritas; stocking beverages, utensils and napkins; stocking the salsa bar; cleaning the dining room; reconciling the cash drawer and dividing the pooled tips.
Candidates must be able to learn quickly and multi-task. Must be friendly, cooperative and professional. Ability to speak/understand Spanish is a plus, but not required.
This is a long-term position with a flexible schedule, but must include Saturday night (4pm -10pm).
Starting wage is $12.75/hr plus share of the tip-pool (typically $28-$65 per person depending on shift).
Half-price meals provided. Dental and Vision insurance provided after 30 days.
