Flood's is a new bar and restaurant in Portland's West End from the owner of Palace Diner.Â
We're looking for a talented, humble and hard-working bar manager to join our team.
The bar manager will work closely with the owner to execute a cocktail, beer and wine menu that is simple, fun, classic and delicious.
The right person is an experienced bartender with years spent behind the bar and a deep knowledge of spirits and cocktails. You should be super organized and have a great attitude, terrific communication skills, a strong work ethic, bar menu creation experience, management experience, and a desire to do great things!
Experience should include:Â
- Several years in reputable bars or restaurants w/ references
- A deep knowledge and understanding of spirits, cocktails, beer and wine Â
- Management of ordering and inventory
- Communicating with vendorsÂ
- Controlling purchasing and food cost
- Communicating with and educating a FOH teamÂ
- Creation of drinks and beverage menus
