The Fore Street Restaurant is looking to hire for the position of Server Assistant. This position works closely with the waitstaff to ensure guest satisfaction. Primary responsibilites include:
Clearing, bussing and re-setting tables
Stocking flatware and glassware
Preparing new table settings
Watering tables
Stocking and ongoing management of wait stations
Polishing silverware and glassware
Assisting wait staff with guest satisfaction
The candidate should have a polished and professional appearance as the position requires active communication with guests. This position also requires self-direction while being able to work in a team environment. This is a year-round part-time position that is fast paced for the majority of the scheduled shift. Must be able to work weeknights and weekends. Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred. This is not a seasonal position.
