Gorgeous Gelato is seeking highly MOTIVATED and COMMITTED employees to staff our kitchen and production facility, eager start a new career.
We are perfectionist and detail obsessed and our business ranks number one on Tripadvisor, Yelp and Google.
We are also in the process of opening a second location and a new production facility.
We are looking for two different positions :
1) a FULL-TIME employee (gelato production operator)
2) a PART-TIME employee (kitchen help)
to work in the kitchen and aid in the production of our gelato. The ideal candidates for these positions should feel comfortable in the kitchen and be sharp and precise. He should be dedicated, hard-working, and reliable, as we will count on this person to keep production running in the shop. This position offers the potential for growth and advancement.
Main tasks are:
Preparation and pasteurization of gelato base
Preparation and extraction of gelato from batch freezer
Exercise proper care and storage of products
Operate and care for machinery according to proper safety and cleanliness standards
Assist in putting away kitchen inventory
Assist in monitoring kitchen inventory and clean dish-ware and equipment
Any other task as requested
Minimum Job Requirements/Skills:
Must have 3 year kitchen experience
Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
Ability to do advanced math/measuring
Must exercise good personal hygiene
Must have high standards of cleanliness
Must be detail-oriented and precise
Must follow and maintain an healthy lifestyle
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma
